As a reminder, La Folle Journée is a classical music festival created by René Martin,and held annually since 1995 in the city of Nantes, late January or early February.

Each year the festival is devoted to a different theme: a composer or composers of aperiod in the history of music.

While in 2011 the theme was "The Titans" with artists from Johannes Brahms to RichardStrauss by way of Anton Bruckner, Gustav Mahler, Alban Berg, Arnold Schoenberg and Paul Hindemith, in 2012 the theme will be "The Russian composers from 1860 to the present day "(from 1 to 5 February).
